Laura is a second-year Law student at King’s College London, pursuing a double degree in English and Spanish Law. She is especially passionate about issues concerning international legal cooperation, access to justice and the relationship between EU institutions and the citizens they serve. Moreover, she is eager to bring a comparative perspective to legal research and advocacy.

As a member of the Legal Affairs Commission at VOYCE, she looks forward to contributing to cross-border research projects that explore the legitimacy and harmony of EU law, with a focus on aligning institutional actions with the Union’s foundational values.

By combining academic insight, practical experience, and a strong commitment to social impact, she is hoping to contribute to VOYCE’s mission of shaping a more just

and united European legal landscape.

Magdalena Georgieva is a second-year Bulgarian student at Bocconi University, enrolled in the Bachelor of Global Law. Her dream is to work as an IP/IT lawyer at the European level and to represent her country as a legislator in the European Commission, working alongside those who drafted the AI Act.

Her passion for law sparked her interest in the regulation of AI and led her to the conclusion that technology is what truly drives innovation and progress. For her, the intersection of law and technology is a sphere that is only beginning to develop, and she wants to be part of this evolution by conducting academic research on the legal regulation of AI. This summer, she is interning at one of the first AI-native platforms, which automates legal research, document review, and drafting.

Outside of university, she is passionate about adventure sports such as mountain biking, trail running, and open-water swimming. She also practiced ballet for nine years.

Vansh Minocha is a Bachelor’s student in Law and Sociology at the University of Warwick. His foundation in criminal law, shaped through his service with the Singapore Police Force, progressed to a broader interest in legal policy, technological governance, and comparative legal systems. His writing explores the intersection of innovation and regulation, particularly in fast-moving areas like AI, digital infrastructure, and global governance. Having lived across India, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the UK, Vansh brings a cross-cultural perspective to legal questions. He is especially focused on how law responds to societal and technological change, and how regulatory frameworks can be made more agile, coherent, and inclusive.

Margherita Carboni is currently pursuing a combined Bachelor’s and Master’s degree at LUISS Guido Carli. 

Although still at the beginning of her studies, she has recently developed a strong interest in European Law and Space Law, as well as Contract Law, fascination sparked by her experience as a Business and Legal Associate at JEVIS, Pisa’s Junior Enterprise. 

Part of VOYCE’s Legal Affairs commission, she’s eager to support initiatives that promote meaningful social impact, and she values being part of a purpose-driven community where she can give her best and learn from others striving for the same.

Teo is a third-year Psychology student at Rome’s Sapienza University. He aspire to become both a therapist and an academic researcher. His studies focus on Developmental and Social/Political Psychology, with a particular interest in integrating Dynamic Psychology with Neuroscience and Cognitive Psychology. He’s driven by the conviction that European regulations must evolve to safeguard individual and collective well being, considering the intense technological changes shaping our lives. He strongly believes this is only achievable through innovative EU regulations, and this is why he is part of VOYCE.

Aldo is a fourth-year Law student at Università Bocconi with a strong dedication to European legal integration, institutional legitimacy, and the evolving role of justice within the EU. As Head of the Legal Affairs Commission at VOYCE, he coordinates a uniquely diverse team of law students and young professionals from across multiple European jurisdictions. This multicultural legal ecosystem allows the Commission to explore the EU’s legal and governance architecture from multiple perspectives: enhancing the legitimacy of its institutional framework, interpreting the evolving body of ECJ case-law, and evaluating the coherence between EU action and its foundational Treaties. Through a collaborative and research-driven approach, the Commission works to ensure that the European legal order remains firmly anchored in justice, fundamental rights, and democratic accountability.

Nicola Povinelli is a Law student at Bocconi University with strong interests in Corporate Law, Antitrust Law, and Tax Law. He is particularly drawn to the way legal frameworks shape markets and ensure economic fairness within an increasingly interconnected European system.

By joining VOYCE, he embraced its mission to cut the gap between European policymaking and the voices of young people, driven by his conviction that a deeper European integration is both a strategic necessity in the current global landscape and a fundamental step toward safeguarding rights and protecting citizens.

Cecilia de Peitl is a Bocconi Law student specialising in EU and international law through the THEMIS programme at Maastricht University, with a focus on how legal systems adapt to rapid technological change. She is particularly interested in how EU law can balance innovation, fundamental rights, and accountability, especially in digital rights, cybersecurity, and the legal implications of AI. She brings a precise, pragmatic approach to legal analysis and drafting, and thrives in multicultural, cross-border environments.

She joined VOYCE’s mission to strengthen dialogue between European policymaking and the voices of young people across the continent. As a member of VOYCE’s Legal Commission, she contributes to rigorous, constructive discussion, while sharing ideas clearly and listening openly.

Jasmine Sabbatini is an International Business Law LLM student at Queen Mary, University of London, and LLB Law graduate with hands-on experience across Italian, EU, and English jurisdictions. As Co-Founder and Outreach Officer of the Queen Mary European Affairs Society, she participated in events including Visit Europe House at the European Parliament Liaison Office in the United Kingdom. Multilingual in five languages, her background spans corporate compliance, cross-border M&A, and legal research at international law firms. Jasmine now brings this expertise to rigorous, accessible EU law commentary.

Louise is a French third-year student in law and political science at Sciences Po. She is interested in environmental and human rights law, as well as corporate responsibility, in particular with regards to polluting and digital companies. Next year, she will be pursuing a Master's in economic law in Paris, to better understand the law of markets and regulations, and how European law may contribute to a future in which human rights such as that to a healthy environment or to privacy are respected.

Francesca Sacco is a fourth-year Italian student at Bocconi University in Milan, enrolled in the Bachelor of Law. Originally from Calabria, she has developed a strong academic interest in administrative and European law, with a particular focus on public policies, independent authorities, and the technical mechanisms that shape public law and governance.

Her passion for politics and institutional dynamics has led her to explore how legal frameworks influence the functioning of public administration. She is especially interested in understanding and improving the systems governing public procurement and administrative procedures. Her dream is to become an administrative lawyer and contribute to reforming the system of public tenders and public administration, particularly in Southern Italy, making it more efficient, transparent, and responsive.

Beyond law, she enjoys cinema, theatre, and exploring cultural spaces such as museums, exhibitions, and concerts.

Maddalena Vigo is a Law student at Bocconi University and is currently an intern at the OECD. Through her studies, she has developed a strong interest in European Law and Comparative Law, and is particularly fascinated by how legal systems and instruments can be leveraged to promote justice, equality, and democratic values across borders. She is a strong believer in cross-border cooperation and in the value of an interdisciplinary approach—convinced that legal analysis must also consider economic and global perspectives to be truly effective.

She joined VOYCE's mission of bridging the gap between European policymaking and the voices of young people across the continent. 

As President of the Think Tank she oversees the work of Commissions and encourages discussion on current issues within the Think Tank. She previously served as Head of the Legal Affairs Commission at VOYCE, where she coordinated a uniquely diverse team of law students and young professionals from across multiple European jurisdictions engaged in researching and analysing how to nurture the European project through jurisdiction, fundamental rights and legal knowledge.

Carlotta Fattor is a Bachelor’s student in Global Law at Bocconi University. She has developed a strong interest in European Union law and in how legal systems can respond to cross-border challenges while safeguarding fundamental rights and democratic values.

Through her international experiences and multilingual background, she has cultivated a comparative and open-minded approach to legal studies. At VOYCE, she joined the Legal Affairs Commission to contribute to research and discussions on current EU legal developments, with the aim of making complex legal issues more accessible to young Europeans and fostering informed participation in European policymaking.

Sofia Montanino is a first year Master’s student currently enrolled in the Bocconi–HEC Double Degree program in Economics and Social Sciences. Through her bachelor studies in Economics at Bocconi University, she has developed a strong interest in competition law and in how antitrust enforcement can safeguard fair competition and promote welfare.

By joining the Legal Affairs Commission, she brings an economic perspective to legal analysis, drawing on microeconomic intuition to better understand incentives, strategic behaviour, and the broader effects of regulatory intervention. Through this interdisciplinary approach, she hopes to contribute to a deeper understanding of how European legal and regulatory frameworks can support fair, efficient, and well-functioning markets. She joined Voyce to be part of a community of young people that are eager to exchange ideas and perspectives and collaborate on projects that drive change.

Giada Grassi is a member of the Legal Affairs team at VOYCE, where she serves as article writer. She is a fourth-year Law student at Bocconi University in Milan and is currently completing an exchange programme abroad.

Alongside her studies, Giada is actively involved in the San Siro Legal Clinic, where she contributes to providing legal assistance and further strengthens her commitment to access to justice. She has a strong interest in sport and social initiatives, particularly in the way they intersect with law and community engagement.

Martina Mancini is a fourth-year Law student at the University of Pisa. During her studies, she has developed a strong interest in commercial, banking, and financial law, focusing on how these frameworks can be used to prevent economic—and thus social—crises. Martina’s interests lie in the exploration of the potential of the law as a tool to safeguard vulnerable subjects and promote fairness in complex financialized societies.

Her academic background includes a summer course on International Political Economy at King’s College London, a WIMUN simulation at the UN Headquarters in New York, and her role as a Peer-to-Peer Tutor. 

By joining VOYCE, Martina seeks to bridge the gap between academic research and European policymaking. Driven by her aspiration for an academic career, she believes that the insights of young scholars are essential to building a more resilient Union, where financial stability and economic growth are no longer seen as conflicting objectives with social justice, but as inseparable foundations for the future of Europe.

Andrea Casali is a first year Master's student currently enrolled in Economics and Social Sciences at Bocconi univesity. He developed a keen interest in competition law and the antitrust measures implemented to preserve a competitive environment within the European Union, enabling both consumers and businesses to thrive.

He joined the Legal Affairs Commission to assist in collecting and interpreting economic data while also drawing on his background in business economics to contribute to understanding when and why companies may engage in anti-competitive conduct and the incentives driving such behavior. 

He hopes to contribute to VOYCE’s Legal Affairs Commission by collaborating with law students and combining their strengths to engage in in-depth discussions on European legislation.
