What We Do
The Space Commission is committed to providing research-driven insights, policy recommendations, and public engagement initiatives to enhance Europe's presence in space. Our activities include:
- In-depth research and analysis on space policy, emerging technologies, and the geopolitical dimensions of space exploration.
- Development of innovative and concrete policy proposals to strengthen Europe’s role in commercial space activities, satellite technology, and deep-space missions.
- Organizing events, workshops, and panel discussions to facilitate dialogue between scientists, policymakers, industry leaders, and the public on space-related issues.
- Collaboration with other VOYCE Commissions and external organizations, including the European Space Agency (ESA), private space companies, and research institutions.
- Publishing reports and white papers to provide thought leadership on topics such as sustainable space exploration, space law, and defence cooperation
